Simon Stephan is a 67-year-old craftsman who creates innovative handmade bags in France. He has been learning the craft of making handmade bags from his grandfather since childhood and has continued to go out to learn and refine his skills over the years. Our story with Simon began in April 2025, when he visited the Lore Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall in Beijing, China. Our CEO received Simon, and the two hit it off immediately. Later, they reached a preliminary cooperation agreement, which led to the Lore independent website you see now. We are committed to exploring China’s 5,000-year-old intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship and the stories behind it, breaking through the limitations of global fashion, and creating unique products with noble mid-luxury attributes.
